Transfer of Rights in Credit Contracts

Make sure you check your credit agreement for the following type of text:

Transfer of Rights: We may transfer, sell or otherwise assign all of our rights under this Agreement. If we do so, we may disclose information about you and the Account to anyone to whom we assign our rights.

If you agreed to this, it means that the creditors can transfer full rights of the agreement to collection agencies.

If this Transfer of Rights is not in the agreement, all of our discussion regarding collection agencies still holds.
