Meeting with Justice Critic Don Morgan - SK

I met with Don Morgan - Justice Critic today. We talked about the Credit Repair industry and issues in Saskatchewan. He was nice and friendly. I liked the fact that his job is about criticizing current legislation.

The problem we're having is that the legislation that we've got in Canada is not well understood by both the government and the consumer. Equifax Canada and TransUnion Canada are very powerful because of this fact.

What I hoped to do today was start a dialog with the Justice Critic's office and hope that he understands our problems. I had 30 minutes to describe a host of problems.

FYI... I've met with the Attorney General - Frank Quennell in Saskatchewan regarding this problem. The government isn't taking the credit repair issue seriously. It's because of lack of education on the situation.

The more people that complain about the issues, the more seriously the government will take the problem.
